Florence Melody (Tiernascragh, Ballycrissane, and formerly of Legion Terrace, Longford),

passed away peacefully today (August 7th) in the wonderful care of the Galway Hospice,

surrounded by her loving family.

Florence is predeceased by her first husband Ernest Sears, her son Ernie and her sister Patricia, she will be deeply missed by her husband Michael, sons Danny, Anthony, Patrick and Barry, daughter Bernadette, grandchildren, great grandchildren, daughter-in law Emer, sister Kathleen, brother-in-law Ian, sisters-in-law Mary-Alice and Rena, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Florence will repose in Dignity Funeral Care funeral home, on the grounds of Portumna Retirement Village Saint Brendan's Road, Portumna, (H53 AY18), Sunday August 10th from 4pm to 6pm. Funeral cortege will arrive to the Church of The Immaculate Conception, Tiernascragh (H53 W822) at,11:45 on Monday August 11th. Mass for the repose of Florence's soul will be celebrated at 12oc. Burial will take place after Mass in Tiernascragh Cemetery.
