Florence (Florrie) Whelan
(née Skelly)
Whelan (née Skelly) Florence (Florrie) (Glenview Park, Tallaght and formerly of Climber Hall, Kells, Co. Meath) 22nd June 2025, peacefully at Tallaght University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Pre-deceased by her much loved husband Brendan. Amazing, loving and adored Mam to Hazel, Michael and Shonagh. Florrie will be forever loved and always remembered by her family, sisters Marion, Romey, Michelle and Joan, brothers Michael and Francis, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, daughter-in-law Carol, sons-in-law Rory and Kevin, her much loved and cherished grandchildren Megan, Luke, Sophie, Laura, Ella, Matthew, Rían, Daire, Bren and Danielle, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and her wonderful neighbours from Glenview Park.
Not forgetting her special walking buddy Poppy.
May Florrie’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Reposing at her home on Thursday (26th June) from 3pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday (27th June) in St Mary’s Priory Church, Tallaght at 11am following on afterwards to St Colmcille’s Cemetery, Kells, Co. Meath.
