It is with deep sadness that Fergal’s parents Frank and Addie and his brothers Garrett and Morgan and their families share the news of his death with you after a very brief illness. Fergal died on June 20, 2025, following exceptional care from Doctors, nurses and carers at Galway University Hospital. A devoted son to his parents and a wonderful brother and friend to many.

Deeply mourned by his parents and brothers, sisters-in-law Sylvia and Gillian, nieces and nephews; Philip, Victoria and Liam, Fionn, Ruby, Luka and Jude, by his Uncle Tommy, Auntie Kathleen, cousins, relatives and many kind friends.

His smile, his laugh and his wonderful sense of humour will never be forgotten by those who had the privilege of knowing him

Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway, H91 V1K8, from 4.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. Fergal will not be brought to the Church this evening.

Thursday, June 26, 2025

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Fergal on arrival at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Road at 11 a.m. H91 E781. Private cremation to follow on Friday.
