Eugene Tansey

Eugene Tansey (retired An Garda Síochána, Fitzgibbon Street Station), Lorcan Road, Santry, Dublin and formerly of Ballinameen, Co. Roscommon. 8th November 2025, peacefully at home. Beloved husband of Helen. Sadly missed by his loving wife Helen, brothers Thomas and John, sisters-in-law, Madeleine, Eileen, Bridget and Cora, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnephews, great-grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and large circle of friends. Predeceased by his parents James and Bridget, his sister Mary and brother Seamus.

Rest in peace

Reposing at his home in Santry on Monday, 10th November, from 12 noon to 2pm, followed by reposing at his sister-in-law Cora’s home in Redcross that Monday evening, from 7pm to 9pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11.30am in St. Patrick's Church, Barraniskey followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
