Eileen McGowan
(née O'Malley)
The death has taken place of Eileen McGowan (née O'Malley), Drumross House, Ballincar, Rosses Point, Co. Sligo. Formerly of Roonith, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo and Drummans, Glencar, Co. Leitrim. Peacefully on 16th June, 2025, at Cuan Catríona Nursing Home, Castlebar.
Predeceased by her brothers John Joe, Tommy and Eddie, sister Sal and nephew John.
Beloved wife of the late Larry. Sadly missed by her brother Jim, sister Mary and sister-in-law Bernadette (Banks), nephews, nieces, extended O'Malley and McGowan families, neighbours and friends. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Removal to St. Osnat's Church, Glencar, on Wednesday evening, to arrive at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in Diffreen cemetery.
