Desmond (Des) WARDE, Kilpatrick Manor, Ballinea, Mullingar, (formerly of The Neale, Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo) passed away on August 6, 2025 - peacefully, in the tender care of the nurses, doctors and staff at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Nuala and loving father of Barry and Alan. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his family, adored grandchildren Josh, Luke, Adam, Rebecca, Jordan and Yasmin, daughters-in-law Pauline and Angela, his brother Damian, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Shaws Funeral Home, Bishopsgate St., Mullingar (N91 RY65) on Monday, August 11, from 4.00 o'c. concluding with prayers at 6.00 o'c., followed by removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar, arriving at 6.30 o'c. Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning at 11.00 o'c., followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery. Des' Mass can be seen on the live webcam at www.mullingarparish.ie
