The death has occurred of
Desmond (Des) TOBIN
TOBIN, Desmond (Des), late of Ballinteer and formerly of Dundrum, passed away peacefully on the 22nd of June 2025, in the wonderful care of the staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. Beloved husband of the late Catherine and loving father to Susan, John, Gary and Des. Predeceased by his parents Christopher and May and his siblings Cyril and Una; Desmond will be sadly missed by his daughter, sons, son-in-law Greg, daughter-in-law Maria, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Dolores and Ruth, brother Alan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and all extended family, neighbours and friends.

Desmond will be reposing at the Larry Massey Funeral Home, Eden Centre, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, on Wednesday (June 25th) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Thursday morning (June 26th) to the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Ballinteer, arriving for 10am Mass, followed by a 12pm Cremation Service in the Garden Chapel, Mt. Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross. All enquiries to Larry Massey Funeral Directors, Rathfarnham, on (01)4061000.
