Des passed from this life, peacefully, at home on 6th November 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Helen, his son Michael and daughter-in-law Bridie (Kenneally) and his brother Tom.

Des will be always remembered and deeply missed by his son Richard and his partner Natasha, and his daughter Helena and her husband Peter, his grandchildren Louise, Matthew, Ryan, Amy, Chris, Andrew and Lara, great-grand-daughter Annie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, members of the extended family, neighbours and friends.

Des will repose in Dignity Funeral Care, funeral home, on the grounds of Portumna Retirement Village (H53 AY18) on Sunday 9th November from 4pm to 6pm. Funeral cortege will arrive at St Brigid's Church Portumna at 10.45am for Requiem Mass for Des at 11am on Monday 10th November.

Burial will take place afterwards in St Michael's cemetery, Portumna.
