MATTHEWS Derek (Bredin St, Drogheda, Co Louth) September 22nd 2025 Peacefully, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Derek will be sadly missed by his loving wife Madeline, daughter Katie, son John, Katie’s partner Aidan, daughter-in-law Samantha, his grandchildren Lorcán, Raigaín, Taídgh and Callum, sisters Joanne and Catherine, brother Barry, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his father John, mother Anna and sister Paula.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his home on Wednesday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Removal from his home on Thursday morning at 11am walking to Our Lady of Lourdes Church for funeral Mass at 11.30am which can be viewed live on https://www.saintpetersdrogheda.ie/ Burial after in St Peter’s Cemetery.
