In the early hours of Saturday, August 02, 2025 Denis died peacefully in the care of his devoted wife Georgina with his son and daughters by his side. Beloved son of the late Denis and Peg and father-in-law of the late Joe Mc Cormack. Deeply loved and mourned by his wife Georgina and their children; Leona Mc Cormack, Denis and Gina, sister Marie, brother Jarlath, daughter-in-law Joan Marie, Gina's partner Rob O'Hea, his adored grandchildren Conor, Cian and Síomha, nieces and nephews, the extended Kinsella and Reidy family, lovely friends and neighbours.

"Fair ye well old Corrib River,

fair ye well sweet Corrib Lake,

you will both be here forever,

soon we all our leave must take"

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Denis at 12 noon at Galway Cathedral. Private Cremation will follow. Live Streaming link for Mass below.
