BARRETT (Cahergal Avenue, Cork): On August 6th, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, DAVID (late of Youghal Carpet Yarns), devoted and loving husband of Nora (née O’Connell) and loving dad to Yvonne, Stephen, David, Catherine, Martin and Brian, adored grandad of Luke, Jess, Max, Charlie, Jamie, Ronan, Sadie, Joe, Oliver, Ross, David, Harvey, Billy, Isabelle, Lily and Daniel, dear brother of Anna, Helen, Marie and the late Joseph and Brenda.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife and family, son-in-law Brian, daughters-in-law Jeanmarie, Sinéad, Yvonne and Emily, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, dear neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Mayfield Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road of Jerh.O’Connor Ltd. on Friday (August 8th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 10.00am on Saturday (August 9th) in St. Joseph’s Church, Mayfield which will be live streamed
