Charlotte Ruane
(née Crofton)
Charlotte Ruane (née Crofton), Elly, Clogher, Belmullet, Co. Mayo and formerly Ballyteige, Glenhest, Newport peacefully at the Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar surrounded by her loving family on 29th July 2025.
Predeceased by her husband Martin, parents Thomas and Bridget and brothers John and Paddy.
Beloved mother of Martin, Michael, Seán and Padraig, adored grandmother to her cherished grandchildren Beth, Emmet, Ethan, Charlie, Emily, Tom, Áine, Mairéad, Abbey and Holly, dear mother-in-law to Gillian, Tina, Caroline and Arlene and loving sister of Mary Duffy (Northampton). She will be sadly missed by her family sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.
May Her Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.
Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Thursday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Funeral will arrive at St. Brendan’s Church, Tirrane on Friday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Faulmore Cemetery.
House Strictly Private.
Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page on Friday at 12 noon with all other funeral services available for viewing on Friday evening at 7 o’clock.
