Cecil DEEGAN

DEEGAN Cecil (Late of Poppintree, formerly of Finglas West and retired master carpenter) Passed peacefully on June 20th 2025, after a short illness, in the loving care of his family and the staff of St. Vincent’s Ward, Mater Hospital. Beloved husband of Marie, loving father of Stephen, Keith and the late Robert and beloved brother of Gretta, Jimmy, Michael, Christopher, Noel, Trisha and Seán. Sadly missed by his cherished granddaughters Carla (and her partner Aaron), Ava, Jodie and great-granddaughter Harleyrose, daughters-in-law Margaret and Jamie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, the Ballymun Civic Centre, Ballymun Road, D09 RFY6, on Wednesday evening, June 25th, from 7pm to 8pm. Cecil’s funeral service will take place on Thursday afternoon, June 26th, at 2.30pm at Dardistown Crematorium Chapel.
