The death has occurred of
Cathal Mac Liam
MAC LIAM, Cathal (Rathmines, Dublin and formerly of Galway City) on July 14, 2025, peacefully at home. Beloved husband of Helga (d. 2016) and much loved Papa to Fionnula, Egon, Conor, Bébhinn and Kilian, and Opa to Áine, Isolda, Síofra and Fergus. Much missed by sisters Joanna Frost and Cecily Aspinal, and extended family in Ireland, Britain and Germany and friends worldwide.
Cathal generously donated his body for research. His memorial gathering will take place on Saturday 9 August 2025 at 3pm in Wynn’s Hotel, Dublin 1.
