Brigid (Bridie) McGough née Browne, Tullymore, Balla, and formerly of Kilboyne, Castlebar – unexpectedly on the 6th of November 2025 in her 81st year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Mark, her loving parents Maria and Jim, her adored grandsons David and Mark and her brothers Joe, Tom, Martin, Seamus, Mikey and Dennis.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving children Tom, Mary, Nonie, Fergal, Marcus, Anne, and John Paul; her sister Mary and brothers Frank and Paul; daughters-in-law Cathy, Mary, Olivia and Christy; sons-in-law John and Adrian; her treasured grandchildren Robert, Olga, Seán, Patrick, Joseph, Paul, Maria, Grace, Shane, Sarah, Michaela, Anna, Lilian, Mike, Jim, Mark, Darragh, Ciarán, Tom, and Ella; extended family, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.

Bridie will repose at Balla Funeral Home on Saturday, November 8th, from 5.00 p.m. with prayers at 7.00 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Sunday, November 9th, at 1.00 p.m. in St. Cronan’s Church, Balla followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
