Brian Hughes

Brian Hughes of Kilcoole and formerly Oulart, The Ballagh, Co. Wexford and Greystones who passed away on Sunday 15th June, 2025, unexpectedly but peacefully, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital with his family by his side. Predeceased by his beloved wife Sally (née Kinsella), son Roy, parents John and Mary and sister Barbara. Loving dad of John, Sharon, Vivienne and Ger, adored grandad to Lisa, Amy, Ronan, Shane, Leah and Lucy and gaga Brian to his great-grandchildren Frankie, Charlie, Zalie and Zavian. Sadly missed by his children and their spouses Maggie, Brian, Phil and Dermot and by his siblings Carol, Marie, Valerie and John, extended family and friends.

Brian will repose at the William Doyle Funeral Home, Kilcoole from 5pm until 7pm on Wednesday. Removal on Thursday morning to St Anthony’s Church, Kilcoole arriving for funeral Mass at 11.30am followed by committal at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross at 1.45pm.
