Bartholomew (Bertie) FLYNN

Bartholomew (Bertie) Flynn, Templeglantine East, Co. Limerick on 6th November 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the exceptional and tender care of Bertie’s medical team in the High Dependency Unit of Limerick University Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen, his parents Margaret and Patrick, his brother Eugene and his baby sister Catherine. He will be sadly missed by his loving daughters Catherine and Mary, cousin Bertie (Leahy), sons-in-law Larry and Jason, his grandchildren Lucy, Dylan, Lilyrose and Holly, nephews Patrick, Eugene and Liam, his sisters-in-law Helen and Eileen, our dear family friend Betty (Sheehan), relatives and friends.

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44) on Sunday, 9th November from 5.00 p.m. until 7.00 p.m.

Requiem Mass for Bertie will be celebrated in The Church of The Most Holy Trinity, Templeglantine on Monday, 10th November at 11.00 a.m.

followed by interment in Reilig Íde Naofa, Abbeyfeale.
