Avril passed away on the morning of 14th July in the expert care of Royal Trinity Hospice, London. Mourned by her husband Val, son Sam and his partner Kimberley, brother Simon and sister-in-law Angelica, God-children Emma, Roxi and Tom, extended family and uncounted friends and colleagues.

 

Reposing at Poppy's Funeral Home, The Gatehouse, Lambeth Cemetery, Blackshaw Road, SW17 0BY. On Wednesday 6th August between 2.30 – 4.30pm and on Thursday 7th between 12 – 2pm.

 

Humanist Cremation to take place at Putney Vale Crematorium, Stag Lane, London, SW15 3DZ at 3pm. A wake to follow at The Telegraph pub, Putney Heath, London SW15 3TU. All are welcome at both.

Avril's friends and family would like to thank with great appreciation the staff of both the Royal Marsden Hospital Chelsea and Royal Trinity Hospice Clapham, at both of which she received loving and exceptional care.

 

Her family would also like to thank all her visitors and well-wishers over the last 5 months, who meant so much to her and gave her such moral support.
