The death has occurred of
Angela Cooney
(née McCarthy)
COONEY (Cork) on August 5th, 2025 (peacefully) in the presence of her loving family, at the Mercy University Hospital, ANGELA (nee McCarthy), Roman Close, off Roman Street (late Gurranabraher Avenue). Beloved mother of Wayne, Jenna & Āine and niece of the late Auna.
Sadly missed by her loving son, daughters and their father Harry, grandchildren Mya, Hud, Yasin, Millie, Isabella & Tadhg, daughter-in-law Deirdre, son-in-law Jonny, the extended McCarthy family, relatives and friends.
Visitation at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Friday (8th) from 5:00pm to 6:00pm with Prayers at 5:45pm. Requiem Mass at 11:00am on Saturday at the North Cathedral. Cremation afterwards at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
