The death has occurred of
Alphonsus (Alan) DOOLEY
Alphonsus (Alan) Dooley
Loreto Park, Kilkenny and formerly of Clontarf, Dublin.
Alan died peacefully on 18th June 2025, surrounded by his loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff at Castlecomer District Hospital.
Loving husband of Anne (née O'Neill), wonderful dad to John, Susan, David, Jackie, Avril and Maria and darling grandpa to Kyoko-Anne, Aisling, Hazel, Conor and Evan. Alan will be very sadly missed by his wife and family, John's partner Naoko, sons-in-law Craig and Tom, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives, kind neighbours, especially Nellie and John, and his circle of friends.
Pre-deceased by his parents Margaret and Henry, sister Betty, brothers Fr. Paddy, Harry and Fintan and his daughter-in-law Roisín.
Alea iacta est.

Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home, John's Green, Kilkenny (R95 XE00) on Friday (20th June) from 5pm to 7pm.
Requiem Mass on Saturday (21st June) at 11am in St. Canice’s Church, Kilkenny (R95 V440).
Cremation on Saturday afternoon in the Garden Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Dublin D6W HY98 at 3pm.
House private please.
