Alice Josephine (Josie) Dagge, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on the 23rd of June, 2025 in the excellent care of the staff of Saint Vincent’s University Hospital in her 85th year.

 

Much loved, and loving wife of Billy. Josie will be mourned by her children, Anne Marie (Roberts), Liam, Joanne (Fortune) and Robert and by her three grand-daughters, Haley, Amy and Ellie Mae.

 

Josie will be greatly missed by her siblings, Ned, Christy, Tom, Ailish and Michael, together with their families. She will be remembered with great love by her sons-in-law, Billy and Jason, daughter-in-law Gemma and by Amy’s mother, Inga, also by her other relatives, her excellent carers, neighbours and many friends.

 

Josie has been pre-deceased by her parents, Paddy and Mary, and by her siblings, Sonny, John, Patsy and Maureen.

Josie will be reposing this Wednesday 25th June 2025 in McCrea's Funeral Home, Carnew (Y14EK24) from 3.00pm to 8.00pm.

 

Removal Thursday from her home at 1.40pm to St. Mary's Church Coolafancy arriving for 2.00pm Funeral Mass, which can also be viewed on the following link https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1AWNU8vZee/ , followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
