I’m a singer/songwriter based in North Tipperary, and I’ve been performing for nearly 30 years in pubs and hotels across Ireland, the UK, and America. Over the years, I’ve been part of two cover bands and collaborated with many talented friends in music, but most of my work has been as a solo performer. Lately, I’ve found myself reconnecting more deeply with my musical roots. My father was the organist in our local choir for over 40 years, so I grew up surrounded by church music. I loved listening to the choir and occasionally singing with them. As I got older, my dad encouraged me to get more involved, especially during bigger church celebrations. After he sadly passed away in 2018, I took his place in the choir — a role I’m proud to continue today. I’m still very active, singing at funerals and church events around the country, while also playing live music in venues whenever I can. Since 2021, I’ve also been working with Music & Health Ireland as a trained musician in healthcare settings. Alongside a brilliant group of singers and musicians from across Ireland, I visit nursing homes and hospitals to share songs and stories with residents — a truly special part of my musical journey.
