RIP.ie 2025 Christmas Card Design Competition – Terms & Conditions
1. Eligibility
- The competition is open to residents of Ireland aged 18 and over.
- Entrants must submit original artwork created by themselves.
- RIP.ie employees and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
2. How to Enter
- Submit a clear image of your Christmas card design via email to ripcompetitions@rip.ie
- Include your full name, contact details, and a short note about the inspiration behind your design.
- Only one entry per person is permitted.
3. Design Guidelines
- Designs should reflect themes of comfort, remembrance, and hope for those who are grieving at Christmas.
- Artwork can be hand-drawn, painted, digital, or mixed media.
- Entries must not contain offensive, inappropriate, or copyrighted material.
4. Deadline
- The competition closes at 11:59 PM on Friday, October 18th, 2025.
- Late entries will not be considered.
5. Judging & Winner Selection
- Entries will be reviewed by a panel selected by RIP.ie.
- The winning design will be chosen based on creativity, emotional resonance, and suitability for the RIP.ie Christmas card.
- The winner will be announced in early November 2025 via RIP.ie’s social media channels and contacted directly.
6. Prize
- The winner will receive a €250 One4All voucher.
- No cash alternative will be offered.
7. Usage Rights
- By entering, you grant RIP.ie the right to use your design for the 2025 Christmas card and related promotional materials.
- RIP.ie may make minor edits to the winning design to suit print specifications.
- Credit will be given to the winning artist where possible.
8. Data Protection
- Personal data submitted will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and will not be shared with third parties.
- All data will be handled in accordance with GDPR regulations.
9. General
- RIP.ie reserves the right to amend these terms or cancel the competition at any time.
- By entering, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
10. Originality of Work
All entries must be the original work of the entrant. AI-generated artwork or designs created using artificial intelligence tools will not be accepted. By entering, participants confirm that their submission is created by them and does not infringe on any third-party rights.
