Willie Fitzgerald

Formerly of St. Bridget's Terrace, Bohermore, Galway.

On Tuesday the 4th of November 2025, WIllie passed away very peacefully in University Hospital Galway.

Predeceased by his parents Gerry and Annie, brothers Frank and Gerry and sister Rita.

Willie will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his brother Pat, sisters-in-law Bernie, Maureen and Patricia, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends - especially J.J. Walsh.

Reposing at Irwin's Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin, Galway (H91 CK84), on Thursday the 6th of November from 5:30pm. Removal at 7pm to St. Patrick's Church, Forster Street, Galway (H91 FP84). Requiem Mass for Willie will take place on Friday the 7th of November at 11am. Funeral afterwards to The New Cemetery, Bohermore.

Parking: There is ample parking available at The Corrib Shopping Centre Multi-Story Car Park (H91 DP6R) which is only 2 minutes walk to/from the funeral home. The entrance to the car park is from Bóthar Na mBan. Please note that this car park will close at 9pm on Thusday evening.
