William (Bill) Dunphy

and formerly of Watree, Gowran, Co. Kilkenny.

Bill, in his 96th year, passed away on 24th April 2025, peacefully surrounded by family, in the loving care of the staff at Gowran Abbey Nursing Home. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Anna, brothers Martin, Nick and Joe, sisters Maura and Alice and his niece Ursula. Bill will be sadly missed by his loving sisters Nan, Kitty, Gretta, Agnes, Teresa, Phyllis and Frances, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home, John's Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Friday (25th April) from 5pm to 7pm with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday morning at 11am in the Church of the Assumption, Gowran.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
