Thomas (Tom) TAAFFE

Thomas (Tom) Taaffe, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, sadly passed away on 11th June 2025. Tom will be deeply missed, and lovingly remembered, by his beloved wife, Helen, of over 40 years; his children Geraldine, Nicholas, Antoinette, and Peter; his cherished grandchildren, Beth, Cara, Asha, and Vivienne; his sister Valerie; and his extended family and friends at home, abroad, and across the pond.

Tom was one of a kind, a genuinely warm person with a great sense of humour. He was always able to put a smile on someone's face through laughter and conversation. A brilliant engineer, a fixer of all things, a mentor, and a guiding light to many during his life.

His last moments were shared with his loved ones through laughter and tears. Tom will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray, on Friday 13th June from 4pm - 6pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, 14th June, at 10.00am in St. Anne's Church, Shankill, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
