Thomas (Tom) Browne

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tom) Browne, Ex-Defence Forces BQMS, Congo, Cyprus and Lebanon Veteran, formerly of Lacora Glen, Delvin, Co. Westmeath, on the 12th July 2025, peacefully after a short illness at St. James' Hospital, Dublin. Loving husband of Maria and father of Celine, Jackie, Paul and step-father of Notis. Tom will be sadly missed by his wife, daughters, son, step-son, brothers Harry and Maurice, sons-in-law Mick and Graham, daughter-in-law Claire, grandchildren Anthony and his wife Laura, Lauren and her husband Clinton, Ashleigh, Amie and Kate, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Marie, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Tom's Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his daughter Jackie's home Newbridge, Co. Kildare (Eircode W12 VH31) this Wednesday evening from 5pm followed by prayers at 7pm.

House Strictly Private thereafter.

Funeral Mass takes place in the Church of the Assumption, Delvin (Eircode N91 K383) on Thursday afternoon at 12pm with burial in the local cemetery. The funeral Mass will be live-streamed on Church Media Westmeath and the Delvin Parish Facebook page on the following links:
