Thomas PRENDERGAST

Thomas Prendergast (Cahir, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo) October 27th 2025: Peacefully in the care of Mayo University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Mary (née Ruddy), daughters Aisling (London), Aoife (Galway), & Órfhlaith (Limerick), brothers P.J. (Portlaoise), & Padraic (Ballina), sisters Nancy Cuddigan (Cork), Maureen Quinn (The Quay, Westport), & Ita Cleary (Claremorris), son-in-law Kevin O Flatharta, his adored grandson Iarlaith, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended Prendergast & Ruddy families and a wide circle of friends.

May He Rest In Peace

Thomas will rest in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Wednesday (Oct. 29th) from 5:30pm, concluding with Vigil Prayers at 7:30pm followed by removal, walking to St. Patrick's Church, Louisburgh. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 12 noon, followed by interment in Kilgeever Cemetery.
