The death has occurred of
Thomas GILLERAN
THOMAS GILLERAN ‘Hillside House’, The Walk, Roscommon Town. July 28th, 2025; (Peacefully), at Portiuncula University Hospital, surrounded by his family.
He will be forever missed by his loving wife Marie (Dufficy), sons Shane, David and Tommy, daughters-in-law Jenny, Rachel and Clare, his adored grandchildren Luke, Erin and Daithí, sisters Thelma O’Donnell, Caroline Gilleran, Anne Harrington and Josephine Muhyeddeen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
He is predeceased by his parents Kathleen and Luke and his brother Peter.
May Thomas rest in peace.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Wednesday evening from 4.30 o’c until 6.30 o’c. Removal from his home on Thursday morning at 10.30 o’c arriving to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.
