The death has occurred of
STEPHEN SMITH
STEPHEN SMITH Ballyrichard More, Midleton, Co. Cork and late of East Kilbride, Scotland, (Late of B&Q Cork).
On 24th April 2025, with exceptional dignity, surrounded by his adoring and heartbroken family, after a rapidly cruel illness, in the most tender care of the staff of St Catherine's Ward, Marymount Hospice, Cork.
Stephen is predeceased by his father Harry Smith and his auntie Mamie Ryan.
Deeply and most lovingly missed by his best friend and wife Maura Lawton-Smith, his treasured children Rachel and Kevin, Rachel's partner James, his mother Ellen, sister Kirsty and her husband Gerry (Kerkhof), his parents-in-law Gerry and Teresa Lawton and the entire Lawton family Willie, Gillian, Cian, Ger, Lynda, Evie and Jess, his uncle-in-law Jimmy and all the Ryan cousins, his neighbours, work colleagues and friends.
May Stephen Rest In Peace.
HOUSE STRICTLY PRIVATE.
Reposing in Hyde’s Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton P25VW02 on Monday evening (28th April) from 5pm to 7pm.
A Cremation Service will take place on Tuesday April 29th at 2pm at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
