The death has occurred of
Sr. Patricia Fahy
Sr. Patricia, Sisters of Mercy, Stella Maria, Galway and formerly of
Abbeyknockmoy, Tuam, died peacefully in Stella Maria,
in the loving care of her community and family, on 10th June 2025.
Predeceased by her parents, Martin and Delia (née Coady), her brothers Tommy and Seán, her sisters Annie (Niland) and Sr. Evelyn, her nephew Martin (Fahy) and her brother- in- law Mick Niland.
Deeply mourned and fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law Mae (Gill,) and Síle (Kelleher), her nieces, nephews, nieces-in-law, nephews-in-law, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces, and the Sisters of Mercy Western Branch, in particular the community in Stella Maria.
Reposing in Stella Maria (H91 XY 93) on Thursday, June 12 th 3pm – 5pm concluding with Evening Prayer at 5pm.
Arrival at Cathedral of the Assumption, Tuam (H54 WP66) on Friday, June 13 th for Mass of the Resurrection at 12noon.
Burial afterwards in the Convent Cemetery, Tuam.
