The death has occurred of
Sr Mercy (Alice) Sexton
Sexton, Sr. Mercy,(Alice) Convent of Mercy, Greenhill, Carrick on Suir, Co Tipperary (late of Clonadrum, Mullagh, Co. Clare) died peacefully in University Hospital, Waterford on July 27th 2025.
Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Ellen, her brother Joe, her sister, Sr. Magdalen, sister-in-law Mary, niece Mairead. Sadly missed by her brother TJ, her sister, Sr. Clare, sister–in-law Colette, nephews, niece, grandnephews, grandnieces, Mercy Sisters, extended family and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing in the Mercy Convent Greenhill, Carrick-on-Suir on Tuesday July 29th from 4pm with Evening Prayer at 5.30pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10.30am in St. Nicholas' Church, Carrick-on-Suir. followed by Burial afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan, Co. KIlkenny
