Sr. Goretti WARD
Sr. Goretti Ward, St. Leo’s Convent of Mercy, Carlow and formerly of Dromreagh, Durrus, Co. Cork, October 31st 2025 in the care of Catherine McAuley House, Nursing Home, Beaumont, Dublin. Predeceased by her parents William (Bill) and Margaret, brothers Thos. Seán, Billy and Mick, nephews Seán and Thomas and by her niece Margaret. Sadly missed by her loving nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, great-grandnephews, great-grandnieces, her Community of St. Leo’s, relatives and friends.
May Sr. Goretti Rest in Peace.
Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow (R93 H308) on Saturday (Nov. 1st) from 4pm concluding with prayers at 6.15pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 12.30pm in the Cathedral of the Assumption. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
