Sgt Michael (Mick) Butler (Retd), 64 Dublin Road, Tullow, Co. Carlow and formerly of 5 St. John’s Place, Gowran, Kilkenny – 12th July 2025 peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a long illness bravely borne; predeceased by his loving parents Nellie and Joe. Sadly missed by his loving wife Eilis, son Brian, daughter Joan, grandson Aidan, son-in-law Stephen, daughter-in-law Judith, sister Josie, brothers Martin, Noel and Pat, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Halligan’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Tullow (Eircode R93 TX99) on Tuesday from 4pm with removal at 7pm to his residence for private reposal. Funeral arriving to The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Tullow on Thursday for 11am Requiem Mass after which he will be laid to rest in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Tullow.

Donations in lieu of flowers to Irish Kidney Association.
