Sean Smith

The death has occurred of Sean Smith, Brecon, Wales and formerly 31 St.Phelim's Place, Cavan Town. Sean died peacefully in hospital in Wales on December 6th 2024. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Margaret, his sisters Mary, Margaret, Cora and more recently Josephine. Deeply regretted by his adored wife Margaret, son Neil (Andrea), daughter Claire (Steve) and his treasured granddaughter Nia. Also by his brother Terry (Keadue Lane, Cavan), all his extended family and a wide circle of friends. May he rest in peace.

A memorial Mass for Sean will take place on Saturday next (July 26th) at 11 o clock in the Cathedral of S.s Patrick and Felim, Cavan and this will be followed by the interment of his ashes in the family plot in Cullies Cemetery. Sean's Mass can be viewed live on the parish website at
