Seán McDonnell

The death has occurred peacefully, in his 81st year of Seán (Patrick) McDonnell, 12 Chestnut Grove, Tallanstown, County Louth at The Louth County Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Seán, loving father of Marie, Bernie, Briege and Jeanette. Seán, is predeceased by his beloved wife Mary (née Finnegan), parents James and May, brothers Kieran and Damien, sisters Eileen and Josie.

Seán, will be sadly missed by his loving daughters, sons-in-law Peter, Ken and Miheal, grandchildren Keith, Megan, Nicole, Dylan, Kyle, Naoise, Orla and Seán, great grandchildren Alfie and Finn, brothers Seamus, Sammy, Brian, Peter, Stephen, Martin and Thomas sisters, Maura, Madeline and Carmel, brothers-in-law,-sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and special friend Vera.

Reposing at the residence of his daughter Bernie Ratcliffe, 13 Louth Hall Tallanstown, (A91 XDT6) from 2-8pm Saturday 26th July and from 12-5pm Sunday 27th July. Removal on Monday morning 28th July, to The Church of St Peter and Paul, Tallanstown (A91 AY60) arriving for funeral mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Oliver Plunkett’s Cemetery. House private on Monday morning please.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of The Louth County Hospital for all their care and support over the past few weeks.
