Seamus McGowan

The death has occured on 31st October of Seamus McGowan Spa Brae, Kinlough Co. Leitrim peacefully at Sligo University Hospital aged 97. Remains will repose at his late residence on Saturday from 5 pm to 10 pm and on Sunday from 12 noon until 10pm with house private on Monday morning please. Remains will arrive in St Aidan's Church, Kinlough on Monday for 12 noon Funeral Mass followed by interment in Rossinver cemetery. Family flowers only please; donations in lieu if desired to Sligo Cancer Centre c/o any family member or Peter and Bernard Carty Funeral Directors (cheques to be made payable to Sligo Cancer Centre).

Forever loved and missed by son Phil, daughters Breege, Cecilia and Teresa, daughter-in-law Patricia, son-in-law Jim, grandsons Ulysses, Daniel, David, Philip, Peter and Aaron, greatgrandchildren Kai, Emily and Caelan sister Moira (Glasgow) his brothers Bro. Patrick, Michael, Paschal, and Joseph, nieces, nephews, extended family and wide circle of friends. Seamus is predeceased by his parents James Bridget nee Rooney, his beloved wife Bridget nee McCabe his son Seamus ,infant daughter Philomena, infant sister Lily and his brothers Philip and John.
