Sarah passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at her home in Lille, France on Wednesday.

 

Sarah’s life will be celebrated by her family and friends in France, followed by her funeral and burial in Waterford.

 

Deeply mourned by her loving partner Romain Dewaele, her adored children Arnaud and Charlotte, parents Andrew and Ann Giffney, brother Carl and his partner Eimear, Romain’s parents Thierry and Valerie Dewaele, his sister Clotilde and her husband Djaoid, Sarah’s godparents Deirdre Power and Kevin Ward and her godchild Ciara-Jane.

 

Sarah will be especially missed by Maureen, Juliet, Felicity and Michael, Jane and Philip, Laura, Ryan, Matt, Kate, friends Eimear, Anna, Hannah, Mairéad, Sinéad, Erica, Emily and Lorna and all her beloved extended family in Waterford, Dublin, New Zealand, Scotland, Canada and San Francisco.

 

A bouquet of beautiful memories sprayed with a million tears.

Sarah’s funeral cortege will be passing her family home at Hillside Grove, Waterford on Monday (16th June) en-route to St Joseph and St Benildus Church, Newtown, Waterford for reception into the church at 5:00pm with Vigil Prayers and Rosary on arrival.

 

Requiem Mass on Tuesday (17th June) at 12 noon in St Joseph and St Benildus Church, Newtown, Waterford, followed by burial in St Marys Cemetery Ballygunner, Waterford.

 

Mass will be live streamed from 12 noon by following the Funeral Service link below.
