The death has occurred of
Ruth Corrigan
(née Meehan)
Ruth Corrigan (née Meehan), Corrigans Pub, Main Street, Rochfortbridge and formerly Multyfarnham and Gibbonstown, - 30th October 2025 (peacefully) with her devastated family by her side and in the exceptional care of the nurses and staff of St Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, following a short illness, borne with the utmost courage and dignity.
She will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her heartbroken brothers and sister, Seamus, Doreen and Fergal, her treasured nieces and nephews Brugha, Mary, Adam, Michael and Zara, sisters-in-law Stephanie and Finola, brother-in-law Terry, aunts Sr Lena, Bernie, Teresa and Sr Kathleen, cousins, extended family, neighbours, staff and colleagues at Corrigan's Bar and a wide circle of friends. Pre-deceased by her husband Enda, parents Brugha and Sally, and parents-in-law John and Rita.
May Ruth's Kind and Gentle Soul Rest In Peace
Reposing at John Healy's Chapel of Rest, Rochfortbridge (N91 R291) on Saturday 1st November from 5pm until Prayers at 7pm. Removal on Sunday at 1.15pm from the Chapel of Rest to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rochfortbridge to arrive for Funeral Mass at 1.30pm. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery. The Mass will be livestreamed. Link below.
