Rory FRIEL

The death has occurred of Rory Friel, Cluain Na Mara, Omeath and formerly Newry and Dublin at the residence of his daughter peacefully after a short illness surrounded by his loving family, . Devoted and cherished father of Nicola (Henry) and Mark. Respected father in law of Colin and doting Grandfather of Charlotte. Beloved son of the late Daniel and Margaret and loving brother of Gráinne, Oisín, Malachi, Aoife, Ciarán, Declan and Aisling. Deeply and regretfully missed by his devastated family. Remembered fondly by friends, athletes past and present and work colleagues at Shimna Integrated College, Newcastle and St. Colman's College, Newry.

Reposing at his residence in Cluain Na Mara, Omeath (Eircode A91 FX7H) from 4pm - 8pm Friday and from 2pm - 8pm Saturday. Removal on Sunday morning to St. Laurence's Church, Omeath arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Rory's Funeral Mass can be viewed on the link below.
