Ronan MURTAGH

Ronan Murtagh, Belvedere Hills, Mullingar, October 31, 2025 - (peacefully) after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family, in the exceptional care of Dr. Ultan Healy and his team and the nurses and staff on Ward 5, at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar and Dr. Fergus Keane and his team, the staff and nurses at St. Vincent's Hospital, Dublin; pre-deceased by his father Pat, mother-in-law and father-in-law Philomena and James Murphy and brother-in-law Ciarán (Glynn).

Ronan will be deeply missed and remembered with love by his heartbroken wife Rosemary, his loving mother Gabrielle, brothers Aongus and Rossa and sister Síofra, brothers-in-law Eamon, Francis, Cyril, Ken and Darren, sisters-in-law Anne, Siobhán, Anne Marie and Mika, nephews, Fionn, Fintan and their mother Caren, nieces Auveen, Saoirse, Anna, Ruth, Grace and Neasa. Nephews Cathal, Proinnsías, Eamon and James, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Shaws Funeral Home, Bishopsgate St., Mullingar on Tuesday November 4, from 4.00 o'c., concluding with prayers at 6.00 o'c. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11.00 o'c, in the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.
