Needham, (née Hefellner) Rita, late of Santry and Straubing, Germany – 31st October 2025 (peacefully) in the loving care of her family and the staff of the Mater Hospital. Beloved wife of the late John (Jackie) and cherished Mam to Markus, Rita, Jutta, Karen and the late Andreas.

 

She will be greatly missed by her daughters and son, grandchildren Mark, David, Justin, Andrew, Aoife, Jessica, Karl, Michaela and Chessie, great-granddaughter Iris, daughters-in-law Geraldine and Tabitha, sons-in-law Leon, Brendan and Fran, sisters Sophie and Heidi, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Ballygall Road West, (D11 W7VX) on Friday evening (7th November) from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm. Funeral on Saturday morning (8th November) to Our Lady of Victories Church, Ballymun Road for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass followed by Cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium.

 

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired, in lieu to the Capuchin Day Centre.

 

At Rita’s request please wear bright colours on the day.
