Phyllis McElroy
(née Brennan)
Phyllis McElroy née Brennan, Cluan Enda, St. Alphonsus Road, and formerly of Dunmahon, Ardee Road, Dundalk. Passed away peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Friday 31st October 2025, surrounded by her loving family, after been loving cared for by the staff of Blackrock Abbey Nursing Home. Phyllis beloved wife of the late Gerry (Sept 1994), dear mother of Gerard and Eamon loving grandmother of Lynsey, Orla, Claire, Lynda and Ann, great-grand mother of Eden, Stella, Cillian, Clodagh, Sam, Evan and Ellie and sister of John and Tom and the late Mary Jeanette, Roseann, Peggy, Lilly and Annie. Phylis will be sadly missed by her sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, daughter-in-law Rosemary, Gerard’s partner Agnes, sister-in-law Kathleen, nephews, nieces relatives and friends.

Phyllis will repose at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn St (A91 XW66) on Sunday afternoon from 2pm until 5pm. Removal on Monday morning to St. Fursey’s Church, Haggardstown (A91 DD56) arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.
