The death has occurred of
Phyllis Browne - Butler
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Phyllis Browne - Butler, Rosecourt, Mallow, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 17th 2025 at Brídhaven Nursing Home, Mallow.
Much adored mother of Eleanor (Duggan), Patricia (O'Sullivan) and Raymond.
Predeceased by her husband John Butler.
Sadly missed by her loving family, sister Bridget (Guiney), sons-in-law Alan and Colm, daughter-in-law Chris, grandchildren Seán, Cian, Siobhán, Adam, Cormac, Dearbhla and Gráinne, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May She Rest In Peace.
Lying in repose at O’Connell’s Funeral Home, St. James’ Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Friday (September 19th) from 6.30pm with Prayers at 8pm followed by Removal to St. Mary’s Church, Mallow.
Requiem Mass on Saturday (September 20th) at 12pm which may be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/mallow.
Funeral afterwards to St. Gobnait’s Cemetery, Mallow.
The family would like to thank most sincerely the Staff of Brídhaven Nursing Home for the wonderful care and compassion shown to Phyllis during her time with them.
