Philip passed away peacefully on Saturday, 17th May 2025, surrounded by love, with his family and the compassionate team of the Claddagh Ward, at the University College Hospital Galway.
A dedicated secondary school teacher and guidance counsellor, Philip was passionate about theatre, soccer, and GAA. He was a cherished mentor to many students throughout his career.
Beloved husband of Carol and loving father of Aoife, Finian and Cian. Son of the late Philip and Teresa. Predeceased by his brothers Michael and Jerome.
Sadly missed by his loving wife and children, son-in-law Paul, daughters-in-law Méabh and Kati, grandchildren Wren, Alana, Odhrán, Siuán, Aoibh and Caelan, sisters Moira, Teresa and Cora, brothers Eddie and Anthony, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at Brigit's Garden, Pollagh, Rosscahill, Co. Galway (H91 CC90) on Wednesday, 21st May from 6.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.
A Ceremony will take place at Shannon Crematorium on Thursday, 22nd May at 3.00 p.m.
