Peter O'Connell

O’Connell, Peter, 9 Harrogate Street, Belfast. Formerly of Cloughergoole, Virginia, Co. Cavan and Ashbourne, Co. Meath.
Passed away peacefully in the excellent care of the staff of the Royal Victoria Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on 28th June, 2025.
Beloved husband of Mary, much loved father of Kathleen (Damien) and Justin (Saoirse).
Loving grandfather of Sadhbh, Gracie-Mae, Muireann and Ailbhe. Adored bother of Seamus (Brigid), Noeleen (Sean), Siobhan (Aidan) Maria (Peter). Deeply regretted by his uncles Paddy and Micheal Cadden and by his loving nephews and nieces. Will be sadly missed by his dear cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and his many dear friends and work colleagues.

Peter will be reposing at Healy Brothers Chapel of Repose on Wednesday 1st July from 2pm-8pm. (Andersonstown Rd, Belfast, BT 119 AN. Phone 028 90309333)
On Thursday morning at 9.20am, Peter will leave the Chapel of Repose, to arrive at St. Paul’s Church, Falls Rd for 10am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in Milltown Cemetery.
