Peter McGOVERN
Ballykeefe Estate, Dooradoyle, Limerick and formerly of Clarke Avenue, Janesboro, Limerick
Ex SPS Shannon.
On June 12th 2025, peacefully, in the tender care of the Aisling Ward, St. Camillus Hospital, surrounded by his family.
Sadly missed by his wife Winnie, daughters Sharon and Lorraine, sons Patrick and Alan, grandchildren Chloe, Aaron, Alex, Tyresse and Amirah, son-in-law John, Sharon’s partner Bola, daughter-in-law Lynn, twin brother Paul, brother Frank, sister Sadie, extended family and friends.
Pre-deceased by parents Francis and Margaret, brothers Fr. Patrick and Tom.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Monday, June 16th, from 4.30pm to 6pm, followed by removal to St. Paul’s Church Dooradoyle.
Requiem Mass Tuesday, June 17th, at 11am, funeral afterwards to Mount St. Lawrence (extension) Cemetery.
Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Mid-Western Cancer Foundation.
Peter’s family would to express their sincere thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of St. Camillus Hospital for their exceptional care and support over the last five years.
