Peter Gallagher

The death has occurred of Peter Gallagher – Portloman, Slanemore, Mullingar, Co Westmeath – September 1st, 2025 (peacefully) with his loving family by his side. Peter is now reunited with his beloved wife Mary Teresa, his parents John and Catherine, brothers Tommy and Ned and sister Mary.

A much loved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother; Peter will be dearly missed and forever remembered by his devoted daughters Rosaleen (Lyons), Jeanette (Kelleghan), Lorraine (Keary) and Siobhán (Coffey), his adored grandchildren Ciara, Conor, Aoife and Daragh; Niamh, Fiona and Orla; Nicole, Shauna and Ben; Jamie, Chloe and Katie; his cherished great-grandchildren Evie, Rosie, Isla and Billy, sons-in-law Larry, Ger, Thomas and Kevin, his loving sisters Kathleen and Teresa, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

Thinking of you Dad is easy,
We will do it everyday
But missing you will be a heartache
that will never go away

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home N91 K660 on Wednesday September 3rd from 4.30 pm concluding with prayers at 7 pm.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday September 4th at 11 am in the Church of the Assumption Walshestown followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
