Patrick (Patsy) McGovern

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Patsy, who left us peacefully on the 30th May 2025 at The Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar with his loving family by his side. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary, his brothers Jimmy, Joe and Michael and his sisters Kathleen and Maureen. Patsy was deeply loved and will be sadly missed by his wife of sixty years Maureen, his daughters Mary, Carmel and Shirley, sons-in-law Joey, Tom and Danny, his adored grandchildren Kelly, James, Stephen, Emma, Barry, Patrick, Sean, Grace and Emmet, his great-grandchildren Kayla May and Jamie, brother Johnny, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

May Patsy Rest in Peace

Pasty will repose at Larkin's Funeral Home, Edenderry this Sunday from 4pm to 7pm with Rosary at 7pm. His Funeral Mass will take place on Monday at 12 noon in St. Peter's Church, Rhode followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
