Patrick (Pat) Fitzsimons

Patrick (Pat), formerly of Portlaoise, passed away peacefully at St. James’s Hospital, Dublin on the 5th of September 2025. Deeply loved and sadly missed by his devoted wife Ann, his stepchildren Paul, Louise, Derek and Anita, sons-in-law Paddy and Daryl, his treasured grandchildren Charmaine, Mark, Sean, Theo, Eliza and Nathan, his sister Mary and brother Michael, his sons Padraig, Enda and Kevin, extended family, neighbours and many dear friends.The family wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Ratoath Nursing Home for the wonderful care shown to Pat during his time there, and to the dedicated doctors, nurses and medical staff of St. James’s Hospital for their kindness and care throughout his life.

Reposing at Ryan's Funeral Home, Ashbourne (A84CX52) on Tuesday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to The Church Of The Immaculate Conception, Ashbourne arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am which can be viewed live from the webstream box below followed by Cremation Service in Dardistown Crematorium at 1:30pm.
